Felix Trinidad with all his weight on his front leg...
Just rewatched the Wright-Tito fight, and listened to wath roy jones said afterwards about Tito having all his weight on his front leg, being used up already when he was supposed to fight Roy in 2001 after winning over hopkins or something. What did he mean? was Tito lucky against Joppy? And when was the fight where he was used up for the first time? Would be interesting to know what you think.
Re: Felix Trinidad with all his weight on his front leg...
weight on the front leg..means that it's harder to get away from the jab...this was part of RJJ strategy against John Ruiz..Roy never used the jab as an effective weapon..but fighters that are front foot heavy are easily hit by the jab...but tito moves his head side to side very well that why he was able to slip fernado and Joppy's jab and catch them with left hooks...although in Winky-Tito fight i dont think that was the case...i think tito and his trainers forgot to tell him that he was fighting a southpaw...he looked like didn't know that lefties exist...

Back foot distance, Front foot direction, Front heel on floor trouble

Tito was not used up. He just ran into a better fighter.
