Former Lewis opponent and SkySports man, Glenn McCrory, beaten up!

Heard sad news on the radio today.
All round nice guy, Glenn McCrory was beaten up at the weekend by thugs wealding baseball bats! This was in his hometown of Newcastle.

Apparently he went to help out a nightclub bouncer and consequently took a beating.

I know no more. It just show what kind of a world we live in today!

Anyone know any further news? Is he ok?

It was in the papers, he went to help his mate (on the door), and they were jumped by a load of youths, who bottled them. McCrory face has swollen up, but he should be alright in the long term. ;)


I do find it funny though, he still manages to point out he sparred 'over 100 rounds' with prime Tyson in the article.*
