LENNOX HAD A CHANCE TO FIGHT TYSON(PAST HIS PEAK) WHO HAD JUST COME OUT OF JAIL, BUT INSTEAD LENNOX TOOK MONEY AND AVOIDED THE FIGHT. LENNOX IS SAME GUY WHO SAID AFTER HIS RETIRE THAT HE NEVER FOUGHT FOR MONEY BUT FOR GLORY.
ANYWAY LENNOX WENT ON TO HAVE A REMATCH WITH OLIVER MCALL AND AT THIS TIME OLIVER MCALL WAS A NOBODY AND OLD, OLIVER MCALL WAS SO PATHETIC AT THE TIME THAT HE HAD LOST TO A JOKE LIKE FRANK BRUNO, 2 YEARS BEFORE THE OF REMATCH WITH LENNOX.
AS OLIVER MCALL DIDN'T KNOCK LENNOX OUT IN 2ND ROUND AGAIN, OLIVER FROM THE THIRD ROUND AND SO ON BEGAN TO JUST WALKED AROUND IN THE RING, AS LENNOX HIT HIM WITH HIS BEST SHOT AND STILL COULDN'T TROUBLE MCALL. THE FIGHT WAS STOPPED IN THE FIFTH ROUND AS MCALL WAS MORE INTERESTED IN WALKING AROUND THE RINGS. THE ONLY PERSON TO BLAME IS MCALL

KLITSCHKO HAD ONLY 11 DAYS TO PREPARE FOR THE FIGHT AS KIRK JOHNSON PULL OUT OF LENNOX FIGHT, LENNOX PREPARED FULL 12 WEEKS FOR THE FIGHT AND LITERALLY SAID THAT ''VITALI IS UP FOR A SHOCK BECAUSE HE NEVER EXPECTED TO FIGHT ME''
IMAGINE WHAT KLITSCHKO WOULD HAVE DONE BEING 12 WEEKS PREPARED, YES WE CAN IMAGINE KLITSCHKO DEMOLISHING HIM, WHY ELSE DID LENNOX RETIRE???????????????

PPL really need to give lennox a break and I am not a big fan of lennox, whether like it or not he was the man in his era. we all know that anyone can be beaten on any given night its only if you can beat the person who beat you that you are considered the real deal, I mean isn't that one of the reasons we glorify Ali. lennox did the same thing he beat the ppl who beat him so I don't know why he gets the short end of the stick.

I was never fond of lennox as he wasn't too exciting but I did acknowledge him as the man of that particular era.

I think he was find in the McCall fight... IMO it was too quick of a stoppage, but I didn't see his eyes so maybe the ref made the right decision, but he certainly wasn't doing the chicken dance. Anyways, he redeemed both loses in his career, and the one draw in which he won the first fight anyways.

Listen I knock lennox all the time but the one thing that is truly nonsense is the klitchko bs, he was starting to really come on lennox and probably would have stopped him and sure as hell did not look like he took the fight to seriously as far as training. Vitali was a suck champion just big and goofy goofier than lennox. Lennox desreves no credit for his win over tyson and little more for his victories over holy but he beat vitali ok lets put it to rest. lennox was a good big man who fought cautious with a great right hand hed give alot of fighters problems

AND dont knock the klitchko thing, klitchko was hurt, BUT he rocked lewis' world in that fight, and i think lewis was on the path to gettin Ko'd. He could NOT drop vitali, he hit vitali with everything he had with that infamous uppercut..and vitali didnt drop. Do any of you remember the look on Lennox face when he didnt go down? it was almost like (jesus, still? wtf). And of course he retired to hide from a rematch. 11 days? 11 days to train? cmon now...anyone here knows that it takes a smart fighter 3-4 months to train for a fight. NEVERMIND the heavyweight championship of the world. Sure you want to give lennox credit, fine, give him credit for shining through during a time with washups and ham n eggers.

yep klitschko was only give 11 days to fight lennox lewis
lennox trained for full 12 weeks to fight kirkjonson but johnson pulled out and klitschko was given to 11 days to fight lennox, vitali too good for lennox. also remmeber lennox was very heay which the later rounds would have gone more against him and lennox threw his best shot and never trouble klitschko, if lewis come in at a lighter weight against klitschko he may have not open a cut on klitschko face, and there no way lewis could have troublre klitschko a bit

lennox lost by bums and avenge them, the mcall did not fight back, he could have done lewis good with 1 punch but wid patient, mcall had lost 2 years before lewis rematch, against the worst ever champion frank bruno.
