I think that he could & will be a great of our generation...but your last sentance nailed the point...there aren't enough big fights out there to make im as great as the oldies but goodies.Quote:

I think there are enough depending on what he does, obviously I don't think he can fight them 1 after another but then again,he has practically had 3 years off:
Hatton
Cotto(1 years time maybe?)
Margarito
maybe CLEAN OUT A DIVISION :o rather than weight jumping and who knows what surprises are in store.....Anything can happen in this game!
He could well be a great of our generation, but as great as Sugar Ray Leonard i doubt.
:coolclick: Agreed.Quote:

Yeah but he needs to fight the best competition out there.
Hatton
Cotto
Margarito
De la Hoya
Mosley
He is a great. Hopefully he clears out the pretenders, and retires the over the hills. When he does, he'll be an all-time great.
pbf is already an alltime great and will be mentioned higher than ray leonard or any other one of them old fighters that seem to only get the nods ahead of the younger generation because they were old...when if you took ray leonards opponent list and carefully analyzed it...he prove to be overrated
SRL lost to Hagler, I don't care what anyone said. SRL got all the calls, and got away with more crap than any other fighter. And all that pitty-pat shat, shouldn't have been counted. SRL is an all-time great, and clearly beat alot of good fighters, but I feel he gets more credit than what he deserves just because he was a fan favorite. On the other hand, Floyd isn't the fan favorite that he could have been, and gets shafted because of his bad-boy image.
SRL beats PBF in every department bar defence IMO. He would kick lil floyds ass.Quote:
