and Oscar also eludes to the fact that he might not even take the mayweather fight...he says people will be very surpirsed who he fights next...that sounds like it could be Margarito.....

"If I have anything to do with, And I have a lot to do with it, it ain't going to happen", - Floyd Mayweather Sr.

If Oscar fights Tony, who is Floyd going to fight? Oscar has the money and name, and IMO, has put a dent in alot of possible fights. "Hey Floyd, we'll fight and make millions, don't fight Tony. Forget Arum, and come fight for me!". "Sorry Floyd, I can't fight you because you're dad. Hey Tony, Winky, and others, don't sign any fights because I may want to fight you." Oscar has the power to do these things{which he made for himself, congrats}, but that don't make it right. He should fight the winner of Wright-Taylor, and let the welters fight each other. IMO, Floyd screwed himself listening to Oscar. Hopefully, Floyd and Tony both will see what's going on, and sign their own contract.

What do you mean Floyd and Tony will see whats going on??? Either of them would sign to fight DLH in a heartbeat because that's where the MONEY is.. It has nothing to do with whether you think it's right, DLH is now back... He is a far bigger draw then anyone else in boxing, it's not even close..

so true......so true...
Re: Told you...Mayweather Sr. says "it ain't going to happen"
About the current stage of the Mayweather son and father's relationship its kind of sad... I remember watching Floyd's first fight, and saying how he went pro for his father, and he wanted to make money so that he could feed his father, and give him a place to live when he's out of jail to now when Floyd Sr. says Jr. never did anything for him, and that they haven't spoken in a long time, and don't even care about what the other is doing (Floyd Sr. at least). I think had they stayed together Mayweather would be even more insane nowadays, and he wouldn't throw that lead right so much, leaving himself open.

According to the interview I gave he says "if it happens, it happens."

That is exactly what I'm talking about. Who wouldn't fight Oscar? I just feel that the true welter championship should be decided by Floyd and Tony. Not taking anything from Oscar, but he hasn't done anything at welter in years, and because he beats a chump like Mayorga, he deserves to fight these guys? No, it's because he has the money. I know Tony or Floyd would pass on each other to fight Oscar, but just I just hate knowing that Oscar can raqueteer the boxing world because of his money.

The interview you gave was before the judah fight...and floyd sr wasn't looking at the possible fight against his son as a real option, but now that it is..he has already made it clear that he wants no parts of it...and even after the fight last night while in the ring oscar said that he really listens to what floyd sr says about things....i personally think he's going to fight margarito...oscar that is....
Re: Told you...Mayweather Sr. says "it ain't going to happen"
hey jonesjrmayweather i told u to stop saying the fight is OFF. that really offends those of us who are making girls pay for our Ringside seats to this fight damnit!!!!!!!
i truly believe all that talk is in promotion for the fight. if floyd sr claims he does not want to do it now. it will only create publicity for when the fight is made. believe that my friends.
