Oscar DeLaHoya: That was the biggest azz woopin' Mayorga has had!
Now let's review the facts, we all have talked shat about Oscar in the past becuz of his inactivity but after Saturday we seen something in Oscar that has been laying in dorment for years! I told many that Oscar carries power at a smaller weight & oh does he! Tito battered Mayorga for 8 rounds before they stopped the fight but Oscar dropped him in the first round of the fight! So does Oscar possess more power than we think & has just never let it out or was Mayorga just easy pickings? What I do know is that Mayorga landed on Oscar and ODH's chin handled it which was amazing! INO Tito don't want to come out of retirement to fight the Oscar on Saturday night!
Now Let's view the two fighters that everyone wants him to fight: Mayweather & Hatton:
INO Hatton's come forward style is an easy target for Oscar & with Oscar's power I think the fight would end in a KO/TKO, Hatton's style is made for good boxers, now on the other hand if Oscar boxes & doesn't use the jab or short left hook then Hatton can pressure his way into a UD but I highly doubt it! INO Judah would of gotten KTFO if he was hit like Mayorga was that night & he probably would of! I'm not sure if hatton could handle Oscar! Oscar by KO
Now, as for PBF, INO Oscar has problems with quick fighters via Mosley & oh is PBF quick and very accurate! But Oscar can box and has really good skill at it so if he can try to figure lil' PBF out & tap him on the chin a couple of times then it's curtains for PBF but it's really hard to say, but I did notice when Judah tapped PBF a couple of times in their fight PBF was seeing lil birdies but still managed to get the job done, but unlike Judah, Oscar is not afraid to capitalize on a dazed fighter when INO Judah was scared to do so! So I'd give Oscar a big chance at even KOing PBF but thats just a chance since INO it could go either way, BUT INO PBF can't take a power punch from Oscar & Oscar can!!!!
"Sorry I've been gone for so long, but let me know what you all think" and yes I think Oscar can beat Margarito, bu it's just my opinion!"
Re: Oscar DeLaHoya: That was the biggest azz woopin' Mayorga has had!
.................and I know many of you talk of Winky Wright & sturm fighting Oscar but INO Oscar isn't good at 160, it's just not a weight for him & he is not comfortable there!
Re: Oscar DeLaHoya: That was the biggest azz woopin' Mayorga has had!
;D Cool Click
MOST (bar the add few who know who they are ;D) knew this Schooling was coming anyway.....
Re: Oscar DeLaHoya: That was the biggest azz woopin' Mayorga has had!
oscar can beat pretty much all the fighters out there from 147-154 but PBF fight is the only one that worries me. I think it would be a 40-60 fight for oscar, PBf gets 60 coz he is in his prime years.
Re: Oscar DeLaHoya: That was the biggest azz woopin' Mayorga has had!
I agree with chamiley, he has a point!

Nice to have you back. :coolclick:
Oscar beat him because he was 100% & also because Mayorga is shat. Simple facts.
THat's that.
Re: Oscar DeLaHoya: That was the biggest azz woopin' Mayorga has had!
I remember during the countdown to the fight Mayorga screaming at Oscar this aint no movie this is boxing bitch, boxing. Boy was he right about that. This was not a bar fight, this was not a street fight or a gang fight, it was in fact boxing, something Mayorga knows very little about. The Golden Boy looked as good as he has ever looked before. I must admit that I did not think that he could KO Mayorga. I know that Oscar packs a strong punch but I think it was the speed that did it. He was hitting Mayorga with two hands at the same time and Mayorga had no answer for it. I think Oscar looked as good as he has ever looked and that it would be a waist of tallent for him to retire. I would love to see him fight PBF, I think he has a serious chance of beating him.

:coolclick: Very true...
Funny that you mention the Mayorga movie statement...it sure as shat looked like Mayorga was trying to win an Oscar (no pun intended) with that little heart felt speech & hug after the beat down...
Anyone know what that bitch was trying to sell to Oscar?

Yeah I didn't like that either. Oscar comes over there on his high horse with his fake little persona going "oh I forgive you for what you said and did because I am a bigger and better man and I know the people will forgive you too" If I were Mayorga I woulda told him to stick it up his ass and spit in his face, not hugged the condescending smug little fuk. And Northside where were you in the aftermath of the Lacy loss? I was here, and I had to own up to it, hell I owned up to this terrible terrible loss to Oscar.
Re: Oscar DeLaHoya: That was the biggest azz woopin' Mayorga has had!
I dont think Mayorga has been a force since moving up from 147. If he can't make welter anymore, it's probably over for him at the championship level.
Re: Oscar DeLaHoya: That was the biggest azz woopin' Mayorga has had!
I too have noticed that for the most part, the power just isn't all there at 154. Strange that 7 lbs would make that much of a differnce but it seems too. But you must also remember who else is out there at 154 now, a bunch of ex-147lbers just like Mayorga. Ya got Quartey, Forrest, and now Spinks :P Plus I for one think IF Mayorga does fight again, a match up with recently dethroned Alex "terra" Garcia would be very exciting.

Spat in his face, and thats good for boxing how?
Your boy got battered by The Golden Boy
HAHAH! ;D ;D ;D ;D
Re: Oscar DeLaHoya: That was the biggest azz woopin' Mayorga has had!
I don't completely understand talk of Hatton/DLH, one guy is 5'6 the other is 5'11 and until a while ago was 2 weight classes above?
Re: Oscar DeLaHoya: That was the biggest azz woopin' Mayorga has had!
Unless Oscar gets old overnight, he would beat PBF via UD. The fight would be close but Floyd is most affectice when a guy is in front of him waiting. oscar wont fight Floyds fight. Floyd will have to fight Oscars fight and he will lose. Believe me PBF will not like the feeling of Oscars left hook
