Two of the biggest douchebags I have ever seen! Smith is opinionated and everything always has to deal with race...and Rome is a coward, he called former QB Jim Everett "Chrissy Everett" multiple times and then when Jimbo got pissed off Rome was set down on his ass, terrified of what would happen next.

I've always HATED Rome. I'm not even the type of guy to hate someone but if you took one of those 9/11 New World Order Conspiracy Theorist who thinks he's right and everyone else is sheep, and then had him talking about sports, Jim Rome would be that guy.

Smith used to be ok, but then he got a big ego or something because over the last couple years he has gotten unbeleivably obnoxious.

I like Kellerman too...Atlas has his soap box time every now and then.

Disrespectful little punk I wish he would have accepted Howe's offer to go to that game he was playing in because I know for a fact that if a 70 year old Howe got a hold of him then he would have finished the job on Rome. Fucken hate that guy.

I think Kellerman is a smart guy, and like Larry Merchant he doesn't hold back his opinions....but unlike Larry he isn't that opinionated when the fighter is standing in front of em so I classify Max as big a pussy as Jim Rome. Dunno what it is about his voice, whether it's the tone or how he slurs everything that comes outta his mouth - fuckin annoying whatever it is

I don't know about the guys in question but I really like Teddy Atlas, he's my favourite commentator by far.

As an armchair fan with no real boxing experience I find Teddy Atlas to be incredibly insightful both during his pre fight tactics slot and during the fight.

He helps explain the dynamics of the fight far better than anyone on HBO who usually (although entertaingly) ramble on about stuff completely unconnected with what's going on in the ring.

Something about a lady tennis player with the name Chris, basically Rome was calling him a girl and his ass couldn't cash the check :\

Chris Everett is the name of a great female tennis player. I forget exactly what happened but Jim Rome kind of considered Jim Everet a coward so he gave him the nickname Chrissy Everett.
