Fighters from 140-154, Mike Tyson's Punch-Out Analogy
For those of us who grew up on Nintendo, let's just settle this once and for all:
Glass Joe = Zab Judah--A fighter with the weakest chin of the 3 divisions who is basically a stepping stone.
Von Kaiser = Miguel Cotto--Slightly better than the previously mentioned, but still too inexperienced to do any damage.
Piston Honda = Diego Corrales--A fighter who can be dangerous at all times and shouldn't be overlooked when training.
Don Flamenco = Antonio Margarito--A fighter who will occasionally throw 18 punch combos but any fighter with limited defense beats him easily.
King Hippo = Ricky Hatton--A fighter who has a hard time walking away from the refrigerator when not in training, and can show strength, but once you figure out his terribly flawed defense, chalk up another easy W.
Great Tiger = Jose Luis Castillo--Incredibly hard to figure out, only can be beaten by fighters who are incredibly smart.
Bald Bull = Fernando Vargas--Possibly the strongest fighter of all in the 3 divisions, but can be outboxed and worn down.
Soda Popinski = Arturo Gatti--A fighter who can only be shut out and stopped by someone with other-worldly skills.
Mr. Sandman = Shane Mosley--Combination of power and speed makes him dangerous to nearly everyone.
Super Macho Man = De la Hoya--This guy is the real deal and has fought everyone. Is better than all but one fighter:
Mike Tyson = Floyd Mayweather--He'll flat out kick you're @ss!!!!!!!!!!

This is quite possibly the gayest thread EVER

how the hell is oscar better than all the other fighters when he lost to shane mosely twice?
Re: Fighters from 140-154, Mike Tyson's Punch-Out Analogy
I would assume for the same reason Hopkins would rate higher than Jones right now, even though Roy beat him.

Agreed.

Stupid! Cotto is leaps & bounds better than Judah. He's been experienced enough to fight some of the game's better workers out there & he's either outworked them or simply KO'd them.

Please. Corrales is an open book. Just look at the losses & how they came about & also...watch him fight period. Wide open defense.

Stupid. Again. Very stupid. No ones worked out an easy win yet.

Not that hard to figure out either.

WTFE! He's not the strongest fighter by large. Oscar showed that.

Agreed...but Floyd like many of the above names remains unproven as your weak ass attempt to either humor yourself or p!ss your fellow members off. Good job.

No offense but I don't even think Roy could beat Bernard Shaw right now. And didn't Roy lose his last three fights? I almost can't even remember the last time he won a round.

Sorry man i read too fast :hypnotized:....okay i see now..didn't bernard lose his last two fights? Roy would still beat him now because bernards style hasn't changed that much from when they fought the first time...
