Anyone hit the ol' speedbag?
I just picked up an everlast gyro balanced 4210 for $36 at a local sports store. anyone know if that's a decent bag at a decent price? Super high end isn't a need of mine. I just want something fairly good for the money.
Also, I'm gonna join a local gym and might pick up some shoes. Is there a decent boxing shoe for around $40? Remember, this is just to drop a few poinds and to lose the wife a couple times a week so I'm not looking to drop tons of cash. I just want to look half decent! And if I edn up being heavyweight champion of the world, all the better!
Any thoughts on these

I asked the boxing guys in ask the trainer but nobody replied. Jerks. ;D
Thanks!

Yea those shoes are both nice shoes. I work on the same bag and those are good bags as well. That is a pretty desent price for the bag as well.
Re: Anyone hit the ol' speedbag?
I've bought stuff from Ringside and Title and have been very satisfied with the products. If you get on their mailing list you get a couple of catalogs per year plus some deals on closeouts, etc. Good luck with your training.
Re: Anyone hit the ol' speedbag?
Title boxing all the way for the speed bag bladders, they're nice and durable - meant to be hit. Everlast bladders like to bust, good way to get people spending more money >:mad

I ordered these ones yesterday. although I don't know why I bothered since my footwork sucks! lol.
