Billy Graham says that Hatton DOES want Witter BADLY
Graham was officially quoted in todays press as saying "Ricky versus Junior Witter could well happen and one i think it will"
"It won't be about money because for Ricky it is personal and he badly wants to fight him,one day"

can only see that fight happening in the UK if im honest... would be stupid for it to happen in the USA.
and i cant see it being part of the HBO contract so who knows mate :-\

Yeah hard to see where Witter would feature in Rickys plans BUT he can force Ricky into a Mandatory IF things pan out a certain way but it for me is a hell of a long shot.
That said... A grudge match with someone who's been slating you for years can often be a very tempting prospect for some fighters.

Witter would be sooo up for this too. He's looked lacklustre lately, probably coz he can't get up for any other fight??

Gents...I know that a buncha us are...Pro Hatton...but how in the hell can this fight be worthy of Hatton if a Collazo rematch isn't?
I mean...the last time that I heard everyone talking...a Junior Witter fight would be a walk in the park.
Correct me if I am wrong...& I aint trying to start any anti-Hatton shat...but this fight actually does seem like a step backwards.

The thing is...I have seen several of Witter's fights & he looks pretty much custom made for Hatton.
I just don't think that HBO could sell it...but then again...Hatton has apparently sold himself to the network & the American media has pretty much begun to warm to him. Witter's problem is that the main fight that sticks out in Yankland is his loss to Judah...not his recent win over N'dou.

So if Hatton drops back down & takes on Witter he then wins EBU, Commonwealth, & BBC Light Welterweight titles, right?
That would be enough motivation on my part...especially after this weekend stateside...but then again...I'm not quite sure what kind of message it sends out on Hatton's part dropping back down after that showing.
