Ever had the raw feeling you're going to die?

I just woke up from a 3 hour sleep i had, and basically i dreamt that my future daughter (who?) and I were the only one's left that in path of a gigantic tidal wave that would kill us had it hit.
I felt anxious, terrified, despaired but also relieved for some reason.............dammit man, u'know i honestly never really felt much when you see people dieing in plane crashes etc etc...but that gave me a glimpse on how it really felt like. (i know mine was only a dream but it felt very real, and this just happened to me 3 minutes ago)
Anyone else been in a near life-death experience?

When I had a gun pointed at me by my father I didn't really think that, only thing runnin through my mind was damn Marvin Gaye went out like this too!

But yeah those dreams will shake you up, I remember having one where I was running away from some guy... couldn't run straight for shit! kept zig zagging and slowly at that, finally I ended up on the ground being strangled, woke up covered in sweat - a terrifying dream to say the least.

I have the tidal wave dream quite a lot. It is to do with fear of not being in control of your life, and being swamped by something huge and out of control (true)

have a think if there is something playing on your mind (you may not even realise it.)

..... and just so I can't be serious for 2 posts in a row ...........................

WE are all going to die, it's only a question of when and how.

Climbing the north face of the Cima Grande in the Italian Dolomites. We,d done the hard bit a 1200 ft overhanging wall, We were on the Head wall, easy bit roped up climbing together.I reached up for peg [piton] it came away in my hand .It seemed 5 mins I was trying to keep on the face it was probably 3 secs If Id come of we would have been goners 1500 ft to the bottom. Ive had some scary moments, but that one beats the Lot I didnt Climb the rest of the holiday,It took me a Long time for me to get my bottle back I still shudder about it

drank 2 much 1 night--almost never woke up---drove on the wrong side of the road (by accident. when i 1st got my license) it was a 4 lane road of traffic coming toward me so i quickly turned on the correct side--luckily there wasnt that metal strip to block the lanes.

I'd not had a proper oh no im gunna die experience, although i swear i am a car magnet and am literally the real life frogger dodging in and out of cars, pulling michael jackson moves.... not on purpose mind you, just to stop my toes getting run over.

But i dunno, Death is just a process and i aint got anything going on at the moment to make me wanna stay about so near death experiences are........ meh
