(Press Release) WBO junior welterweight champion Miguel Cotto is all set to meet this media this week at the Punch Fitness Gym in Deerfield Beach, Florida, USA. Cotto (26-0) of Caguas, Puerto Rico, is wiring in for his upcoming showdown with challenger Paulie Malignaggi on Top Rank's big Pay Per View championship event at Madison Square Garden, New York on Saturday, June 10.
Cotto's chief trainer and Uncle Evangelista Cotto, will outline the battle plan to take on Malignaggi who likes to strike quickly, then move out.
"Since Miguel has been a professional he has not faced anyone like Malignaggi," Evangelista said. "Miguel will be prepared for this, I promise."
Cotto vs. Malignaggi is promoted by Top Rank and DiBella Entertainment and six bouts will be on the Pay Per View broadcast.

All runner gotta do is NOT get KO'd. I.E. cory spinks. Paulie ain't no great boxer. I think Cotto is actually a better boxer than Paulie as well as a better puncher. Much better.

ooo speaking of cory spinks ...i wouldnt compare pauli to him ...spinks was tall and a converted righty to a lefty ...his name made him bigger than what he was ..he would throw that stiff strong right hand of his for a jab ...and move ...boxing with your strong arm being your jab is actually very easy but he ended up w/ no power ..just remember pauli is gonna be SOOOO sharp for this fight ...i expect him to be untouchable and everyone is gonna be angry and surprised but me ;D...(and i am gonna put my moneys were my talk is lol)

Malignaggi takes the first three rounds, Cotto adjusts and takes the rest of the fight.
Cotto is a brilliant fighter, Malignaggi is just fast, as for the reference to Ali, Ali could hit,

My boy Miguel should win. There are very few pure boxers out there that are actually good , and Hulk I agree,Cotto is a btter boxer,puncher,brawler etc than Malignaggi,who does not deserve a shot but it will be a good indication as to how Miguel deals with lateral movement so I am looking forward to it. I want Miguel to box smart,patient,pump the jab,rip the body and victory is his. I don't want him to wade in or anything! Wack,is this the same night as Bhop Tarver? You have a relative who can do one RBr and you the other?
