myspace and US?
anyone live in the US and is on myspace. i have a lot of friends who play in bands and find their gigs on myspace so i dicided to use myspace to try to find fights. no luck yet. i desperatly need to find fights. ive been training hard and im in shape and im looking for kickboxing mostly, or mma, jiu jitsu i've found already(its popular due to ufc lol). so, im looking for a fight. ive looked on mma.tv, and icompete.org, but does anyone have anyother good sites for finding a fight? oh, and by the way, i live in the north east just so you know. if ou can help me find some fights, i'd be forever grateful

Re: myspace and US?
just go grab some musclehead's chick's ass. ;D
I think the easiest thing to do would be to contact your local mma gym and ask them. For example, the boxing gym I go to just had a weekend road trip to a tourney for amateur fights.

Re: myspace and US?
hahaha nice suggestion. i'm really not looking to get into that kind of fight. unfortunatly, mma is illegal in my state and i can't find a kick boxing gym. but, as a follow up question, do you see many kickboxers in boxing gyms?

Re: myspace and US?
No, and I'm dying to kick the thing! But I doubt the owner would like it!
The only thing I've come across in greater Detroit is a boxing/kickboxing guym, but my gym is exclusively boxing.
It sucks being limited as to what you can study due to geographical constraints. I wasn't about to drive 40min to get to a muay thai gym.
