Height Trouble
I'm small and weigh about average for my size but i'm having trouble with taller people with more muscle so they weight the same but have a big reach advantage. i know i cant control my height but i want to compensate for my size by building muscle. any tips for workouts i can do to gain muscle

for a start they shudnt have more muscle if thy are taller and the same weight and building muscle will move u up and ull fight even taller ppl u cud drop weight or simply learn to deal with this disadvatge and building ur style around ur build

if you're average for your height, and these tall guys are musclier than you... shouldn't they be heavier than you?
If some one weighs as much as you and is tall than you, 9 times out of 10 they are skinnier than you... just one of many reasons why you should fight in your range and no theirs, you can really hurt them to the body and can hit harder on the inside.
Practice your head movement and footwork, come forwards and move your head past the jab... once you're inside... WORK! ;)

they are skinnier but when i go to work the body i get held back by the jab and i can't jab back coz they have the longer reach

thats why you have to use head movement to avoid their jab and get inside or in your range. you can't jab them if you are at their range, you can't jab if you are too close... when you get deep inside you can't jab because you don't have the range, do you know how to hook? ;)
Jab your way in. Basically you just need to improve your counter punching, range, footwork and head movement... (just get better at boxing... there is no quick fix you'll need to develop the skills to work the right tactics)

Start lifting weights, thats how you get muscle.
Also, if you are pretty small (i'm guessing your short) you should gain muscle fast. Shorter people build muscle faster than taller people.

nothing to do with height, everything to do with metabolism and genetics... ;) shorter people are more muscular at the same weight as taller people because their mass is more condensed over a small area.
