I love listening to his commentary....I think he leaves out alot of the real "stuff" out....it's like the fighter or corner will say 500 words and all he will say is..."Keep throwing your jab" "move your head".."he's hitting me low"....hilarious...exactly..:)
Re: HBO SPANISH INTERPRETTER RAY TORRES
I like Ray Torres as an interpreter, his interpretations reflect the emotions of the corner. unlike the interpreter they get for the europeans. I remember Vitali klitcho's interpreter, it was like listening to a robot.

yeah...he gets as excited as the corner gets....I just think in that emotion we lose out on what is really said in the corner....I would fall out of my chair at home...dying of laughter..just to here him say 1 time..."now..go kick his a**".. :)

That was so funny I rememer the remainder of the fight I couldn't stop laughing. That is the only thing that made up for erik losing so badly :'(
Also in Barrera-Morales III I think it was 6th round when barrera goes to his corner and ray interprets with emotions "You are giving him a beating, We came to beat the SHIT out of him and you are doing that". I became a loyal fan of ray torres in that fight.
Re: HBO SPANISH INTERPRETTER RAY TORRES
One the best ones was when Mayorga came back to his corner after dropping Forrest and Torres goes "That was good!!!" ;D
Re: HBO SPANISH INTERPRETTER RAY TORRES
I don't remember if it was Ray or someone else I think it was a barrera fight but I actually heard the translator speaking spanish he was repeating what the guys were saying not translating it it was pretty funny he caught him self and then started to speak english.

Yes, that too was very amusing. Knowing Mayorga, I don't think he said "Black Guy". Probably more like "African-American Gentleman" ;D ;)
