So When's Jones-Tarver IV?
If you're a legitimate light heavyweight and you get beat down by not one, but two middleweights (Glen Johnson and Bernard) you know you can't hack it at heavyweight so that rules that out. And with Hopkins retiring, who else is there at 175 to fight that anyone would remotely care about? If Jones wins against that bum, I think these two will fight before Christmas.

I would love to see a confident Roy Jones beat Tarver... I just don't know if he can ever kill the demons... Physically he was so good that although he's slowed up he still has the tools to do it...
He had the tools and the mind before he declined and he could rely on either one of them... but now both are in decline and Roy just needs to use them both...
Re: So When's Jones-Tarver IV?
hopefully roy is done after the fight with prince..and tarver sounded like he's done with boxing....

Didnt want to touch this one, but I will of course...Truthfully I though of this last nite, Roy was on the edge of the couch last nite screaming at the TV guaranteed....Roy would get his revenge and Tarver would dissapear into obscurity..Only to be brought up with the likes of Bill Buckner(Red Sox 86 world series) Buster Douglas and other one hit wonders and various sports choke artists....But I dont think a 4th fight will happen.

yes but what if rjj loses which is a big chance. his fans would think retire so wud it even be a wise move for rjj.i personally want to see him winning a major title before he goes looking for tarver. and i do think rjj could still win a light heavy major title

It would be nice if Glen Johnson managed to win a belt so Roy could try to avenge that loss instead of Tarver. Glen at least has won his last couple of fights and a win over him IMO would be more meaningful than Tarver, that with the fact that Johnson is the only person Roy has never beaten.
