this is how ODLH has wanted it all along....Let PBF get 1 more big fight under his belt..build up the PBF legacy...then take it from him in spring '07 and retire into the sunset.....ala B-HOP!!!!

Whatever the case, if they choose to fight it will be the biggest boxing event ever!
I think Oscar will get pummeled like the way Gatti was demolished in an artful fashion. Gatti and Oscar are similar IMO.

Gatti doesnt have half the skills ODLH does. Alot of people think this will be a hell of a lot easier for PBF then it really will be.

Sugar Shane Mosley is the closest thing to Mayweather that Oscar has faced in the past several years. We all know what happened in those two bouts.
I see it going the distance with Oscar losing a unanimous...
I for one am sick of the Mayweather , Jones Jr. , Benard Hopkins types. If you want to impress me then "take a lickin' and keep on tickin'" like Gatti, Lamotta, or Ricky Hatton.
Two pittbull dogs could have dishragged Gatti in between rounds during the Mayweather fight. Mayweather couldn't knock Gatti out with a frying pan. I respond to heart.

It's an exaggerated opinion. Certainly. However, it's grounded in truth.
Gatti looked like the Tinman of Oz against Mayweather. Gatti was Mayweather's human punchingbag. I understand that he was getting thrased, but I also understand that Gatti could have took twice the punishment he did and quite possible walked back to his corner at the end of round 12. I admire that in a fighter is all I am saying. There is an honor in that type of performance that all the dancing and punching in the world will never get you.
I didn't write the post to spur people on or make people angry. It's just how I feel. I am very happy to have found this place. I only have one or two friends to discuss boxing with and I am greatful to hear another opinion no matter how outlandish I may find it.

Log III day 1:" Hmmm lets see now, and if I actually beat PBF then everyone will believe that I am the best p4p fighter in the world...glory and mula guaranteed!

Nice to see a few others who see through Oscar's mask.
He's all about money, fame and adoration. Now he's saying Mayweather is the best fighter in the world, just so that when the fight takes place he can be rooted for as the underdog Balboa taking on Drago.
He's a fakester and needs to be punched out by Floyd. At least Floyd is honest, he fights for fame and money. Oscar pretends he fights for higher virtues, but in fact it's just plain greed and attention.
De La Hoya simply adores being adored.
I don't have a problem with those values, I just wish he was honest about it.
