Danny Williams living in a tent....
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/boxing/5105892.stm
A strange little story on the BBC website about Danny Williams getting ready for his fight with SKelton by living in an Oxygen tent to build up stamina.
What happened to running and cycling and all those other things that normal people do to build up stamina? Does the tent have a slot where the pizza guy can put the delivery through the canvas, or is he fasting 12 hours a day while he is in there? Does it have a TV and a playstation, otherwise i imagine it would be pretty boring. Generally, it seems rather bizarre.

seems a bit bruno like to me
Re: Danny Williams living in a tent....
If the fight takes place at altitude it will help if not it wont.
Re: Danny Williams living in a tent....
I always thought that it would stimulate the growth or more red blood cells and increase his VO2 max, I got to admit. I don't have a clue if/how much that is going to help at a normal altitude...
If he fights at normal altitude is his cardio system gearned for the oxygen concentration of 'normal' air any way? :) ;)

Not a lot Adam Climbers sleep in them at night, before climbing at altitude. It helps at altitude but very little at sea level. He wants to try harder in the gym. You have to live above 8,000 ft for some time before you get any benefit Look at Kenyon runners or a lot of Mexican fighters as examples, they live at altitude
