I have read a bit about Karamizan and he sounds a whole lot nasty....I like Cory think he is very slick and am just glad to see him in the ring after such a long layoff..
is he biting more off than he can chew against Karmizin though??

If it's a focused Spinks then I think he's got a shot......If he is anything like the Judah fight forget it....Quote:

Spinks should have worked his way up through the 154 competition.
Roman has had a comparable layoff and Spinks was not bludgeoned to death by Judah...I agree jumping up against that stature of opponent might be detrimental to The Jinx manQuote:

yeah...but Spinks was a big welterweight......might he be fighting at his natural weight now???? and might this fight be a little closer than most might expect??? just asking......Quote:

Guys, I do know very well that you do not like me at all but let me tell you a little story.
In the early 1990ties we were 4 boxers of national quality in middleweight (at the time it was 71 kg and was called light middleweight) in Aalborg, Denmark – I was one of them. Actually, not from Aalborg but from the middle Denmark but I started at the university of Aalborg as it was the best and nearest to me.
Anyway, a long story is going short – we were 4 equal fighters and I lost in every single aspect. One of them got to the Olympics; Brian Mathisen, another of them got world-champ in the military and the last one became EU-Champ – it was Mikkel Rask. He was the least qualified of all of us but he has without doubt the biggest heart. I saw him live many times and sparred everytiime he had a big fight, as he was one of my best friends – once were against Javier Castillejo in Spain! and Mikkel had only like 15 fights – he lost only on an injury! Yes, it is that Castilliejo that is now facing Sturm in his next fight.
Anyway, here is the point – Mikkel Rask has fought his way to an EU-Champ fight in 2003 in my university town and Mikkel´s howntown of Aalborg. It took only 2 rounds with full houses and Mikkel was done against Karmazin. It was not like Mikkel was competitive at all even he were at home base – Karmazin was simply too god. Karmazin did never had the time to sparr in Aalborg, that is why I am still the beloved Royal of yours :-D - I guess that I else would be dead :-D
Karmazin´s only defeat is against Castilliejo as Mikkel was in front of points before he was stopped and Karmazin was never losing the fight – only bad home Spanish judges.
Summa sum arum : Karmazin is the very best fighter I ever saw both as an amateur and a pro.
Spinks have NO NO NO NO chance at all – please believe me……..or bet with me leaving this board for real ;-D
