Help Me Choose A Starter Kit
hi, i have been boxing for over half a year now at my university but now that summer is here i would like to continue doing so at home. i have been looking over the internet and would appreciate any help/advice people can give that would help me choose a decent setup for my garage. i am by no means a pro and only really box to keep fit. i had the following in mind...
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/8-Pc-Boxing-Pu...QQcmdZViewItem
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/13-Piece-Boxin...QQcmdZViewItem
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Leather-Punch-...QQcmdZViewItem
as you can see most are from ebay as they seem to provide the best price? should i be getting kits like this or building my own? also how big should i get the bag? i have around +/- £50 to spend is this is possible.
many thanks in advance :)

Smerko, I'll play the bad guy..... My concern for you is that "you get what you pay for." While I'm not up to date with the going rates of boxing equipment overseas, here in the US, you can't buy a half decnt heavy bag for under $75, leat alone the entire package. Everlast gloves, $30, wraps, $7/pair.
Said that, I bought a bag and a $2 hook to hang it from my basement rafters. It's perfectly fine.
I certainly appreciate you wanting your own equipment since I have my own, but I find I seldom use it because I'm always at my gym. So can you just join a gym for the summer. Surely they have short-term rates....
Re: Help Me Choose A Starter Kit
look for the guy awrashid a seller on ebay, i have bought ALOT of stuff from him, he sells quality items, i have bought a few B2 items they claim its REX LEATHER which it really is but rex leather means vinyl (sp?) they just try to discguise it
Re: Help Me Choose A Starter Kit
I would go with the 2nd one.
Re: Help Me Choose A Starter Kit
i would say the bag in the first one looks the best quality to me but u would probably have to buy a better pair of gloves as the ones with tht set dont look too good
