guys tell me what you think, the videos were taken after the first month of his training, he has been training for 8 months now and has come a very long way since the videos were taken but what do you think of him by seeing the video?
ps he trains at danny "the essex boy" Hunt's gym in southend
danny hunt has said himself that for a 12 year old boy his power is great he even got to spar with hunt, not proper sparring, danny hunt let him hit his body and hunt was just doing jabs. but i think at one time hunt got carried away and done a full powerd uppercut luckily my nephew sort of slipped it and countered i cant imagine what would have happened if the uppercut landed, anyways the gym is pretty expensive for my nephew to afford its £4 a lesson which might not sound much but if he goes 4 days a week it will be like £80 a month so does anyone know any other gyms in southend (essex) which might be cheaper?

Hey, Relentless, the kid's pretty good.
Tight guard, good technique on the punches (but does he lose form when he's tired?)
Didn't move his head much in the second video.
he looks like a straight-lines type boxer/puncher? Could may be get him used to moving in circles or not going straight in and out?
Nice technique for a young kid, though!!
(and brave of you to put it up)

Re: my nephews training videos
since then he has changed ALOT because his shorter than the other boys in the club the rainer and i made him comit to slipping and head movement and now his sort of like a tyson winky mix, always bobbing and weaving and slipping and blocking most punches,
he doesnt usually lose form when his tired i dont understand what happened in there now,
im not trying to say his the next best thing to boxing but almost every single person he sparred either quit, he made their nose bleed, broke their noses or most of the time put em down to a knee, he loves pressuring and cornering, his best punches are his body because his short i taught him to mainly do body punches like jabs to the solar plexus left uppercut the the body (which is a really good punch and underated IMO). most of the time he put guysdown was from body punches, so now he has to spar bigger and more experienced guys. it might sound im trying to hype him but if you dont believe me you can always come in and take a look, anytime you go over to southend and interested in watching give me an email, i live in london but i always have to go there anyways so if u really are interested please let me know.
his also got a tremendous physique i'll post a picture up in a sec

Re: my nephews training videos
When he goes to the body, he should bend his knees, when he dropped his hand to go to the body he would get clocked... I'll gladly take a glancing shot to the elbows/body for a an opening like that. ;)
Re: my nephews training videos
like i said before the videos i put up are about 6 months old he has improved alot since then, now he has proper stance, better techniques, he bends his knee some of you might think to bob and weave he just moves his head around but no he doesnt he bends his knee taking his body with him, i've sparred him once lightly he does hit ok but i dont know if he can take a good shot because i didnt hit him hard enough and i was pulling back with my shots because i was scared of hurting him, but he has been working his neck alot, he can do a neck bridge for 6 mins now, his trainer has him work on it 2wice a week and he does it at home every other day
