What I meen is we don't have long distance phones in the UK cos where only a small island :P no idea what exactly they do... ;) surely some one near you has one so you can ring this gym though? :)

And basically, long distance is the same exact thing as local, only they charge you out the ass for it, because they live a little farther away. Its usually divided up by area code, which leads to some awesome situations, like that time I lived right on the border of one area code, so it was long distance for me to call my friend who lived literally 3 houses down the street from me. My parents were NOT pleased when they discovered that one.
