Heard a rumor (don't know if it's true)
I hear that for diesel vehicles, you can buy this computer chip device that plugs into your cigarette lighter, and you can program it to give the engine more horsepower and better gas mileage. Does anyone know anything else about this? Do they work? If so, where can I find one? ???
Thanks. :)

Now, just how in the hell would that work? ::** :P
Saying that... do you remember that car ford made? you weren't supposed to press the red button on the hand break... but if you did... jets came out the back and it went so fast that it could stick to tunnel roofs.

just a basic computerised engine tuner and diagnostic, they cost about 10 grand. You can get mobile tuners to come round and do your motor for a substantial fee.Nothing mechanical is actually changed,it's all done by tweaking the engines computer control system.
It's not just diesels either!
