The money is not there for a Margorito/Baldomir fight like it would be for a Margorito/PBF fight. Baldomir is not a PPV type of fighter. The money in WW is fighting PBF or Hatton.
I thought it was odd that he didnt mention Margorito as someone to fight. I think that fight would do wonders for the winner. They would hold 2 belts which would be a better bargaining chip in getting PBF into the ring.

Its amazing isnt it, a fighter in the heat of the moment fails to mention a particular fighter and all of a sudden hes ducking him.

CC, exactlly, the guy just got out of a huge fight, and he could only think of the big money fights. To Baldomir's defense, the guy has been toiling away in different countries a la Winky Wright and he has beat Gatti and Judah in consecutive fights. The guy should be making the most money he can while he can, not giving Tony's ass a chance unless they are offering 4 Mil. Tony could easily fight someone else to get some distinction like a Judah, Williams, Collazo, Quintana, hell he could have fought Winky, but he will most likely end up fighting someone not viewed as dangerous because he's doing the same thing Floyd is doing, avoiding danger in the hopes of a big payday. Tony's a fucking bitch ass hypocrite. Go fight Judah, he's desperate, but oh no, Tony has earned a shot at the #1 P4P fighter right? Fuck no he hasn't.

Still after 9 loses and 6 draws Baldomir has done more than then Margarito period!!!!! Tony is the flavor of the day...Plain and simple he is a dime a dozen when he gets his a** kicked and dissapears into obscurity there will be the next big hype...It makes our boxing universe go around, as much as I hate to hear all the Tony talk but its a Necessary evil that makes our Boxing Eco-System go around.....
I would :coolclick: you but Karma is a beautch!!!
Re: LOOKS LIKE BALDOMIR IS ALSO AVOIDING MARGARITO
Holy christ, is is really that hard to understand? I mean if Baldomir wanted to fight Margarito he would have instead of Gatti... why do you think he fought Arturo?? Was it because of Gatti's dominating virtuoso performances of late against Mayweather and Daamgard? No... it's because that way he makes some real money after chasing around prospects in their backyards for nothing and losing many along the way in a long career.. I mean just because he beat Judah and Gatti doesn't change the fact that he was an argentine journeyman for over 10 years... Now he probably doesn't plan on fighting many times again.. In no way am I saying that Baldomir isn't scared of Tony, but anyone who says that he is for sure just because he hasn't called him out is simply not thinking.. Put yourself in his shoes.. The guy has almost 60 fights, and has had very little to show for it up until this fight with Gatti... He made over a million dollars to fight him.. that's 10X more than he made to fight Judah, and way way more then anything he ever made before that. was it because Gatti was a bigger threat who he and everyone else feared? Would you rather have a million dollars for fighting someone you are confident you can handle, or would you take a quarter of that and put your career on the line, so that people would have good things to say about you on a forum, until someone else beats you.
