Cotto heading to Showtime? Arum is crazy...

For what I have been reading in diffrent sites including Cotto's website it looks that Arum vs HBO and Golden Boy Promotions since tha PPV event for Top Rank they are all mad at eachother. and Arum I THINK is tellling HBO people to consider his offer or he will take Margarito and COtto To Showtime.

In my opinion this is BAD but very BAd thing for both Boxers since all tha Champs fight for HBO.
Any word on this anyone?

No matter who promotes who, and who broadcast the fight, as long as it is good match, people will watch.

Showtime has always been right in the pocket in regards to boxing ... with fighters like Tszyu , Tyson Peter, Corrales, on and on.. its no loss to fight on Showtime.

I know the only reason I have HBO or Showtime is the Boxing factor. well and the Sopranos. lol

true that but the fact that the actual Champs are boxing for HBO would not help Cotto make a fight with a Big name instead he will fight guys that only shotime commentators know :D

I think it depends on exclusive contracts and so forth, but you touched on something for sure.

ahhhhhhhhhh fuck HBO.....they are driving me nuts w/ all this fucking PPV.... im also going broke. then they have the balls to only show one fight (and maybe a previous PPV fight) when they do decide to show a fight on cable.....i like showtime better at this point.....

you got that right. PPV is suck a**. especially when they don't show Ben Tackie -vs- Wilfrado Negron on the Mosely- Vargas Card. .. How the hell they not going to show Ben Tackie fight? Tackie fights are F****** crowd pleasing. All i can say is for $49.00 show me the whole fightcard damn it ! CC rans !
