Vernon Forrest battles Ike Quartey on Aug. 5 at Madison Square Garden in a match-up between former welterweight champions trying to regain their glory at 154 pounds. Forrest has shown an excellent jab that befuddles shorter opponents, and he has a 4.5” height and 2” reach advantage over Quartey. People betting against Forrest, however, think his chin is questionable, as he knocked out by Ricardo Mayorga in three rounds and was stunned a few times in his last fight against Elco Garcia.
