(Stupid) Bodyweight Exercise Questions
Alright, for the first time in my life, I'm looking to workout, but can't afford a gym. So I'm going to be doing the logical thing and doing the good ole push ups, sit ups and dips at my house.
Basically, what I'm looking to see is how often I should be doing them. I've heard work to failure (more or less), then rest a day. I've heard every day, do as many as you can, then do one more the next day.
Also, should I worry about wide arm pushups one day, diamond the next, those military clapping ones the next, etc. Or should I just do each of them the same day? Same deal with the ab exercises.
Re: (Stupid) Bodyweight Exercise Questions

Re: (Stupid) Bodyweight Exercise Questions
Haha...I'm not THAT heavy....I'm a relatively fit 210 lbs, but I really dont know where it is. I've definately got some fat on me, but I look skinnier than some my 180 lbs friend of the same height. Either I'm a mobile water bubbler (quite likely...I drink a couple gallons of water a day, and then some), or I've got adamantium grafted to my skeleton, Wolverine style..
I'm mainly looking to get back into shape...the girlfriend thing fell out a little bit over the summer, and I quit workin out. Now things are coming together again, and I'm tryin to get myself back in order, and hopefully down about 25-30 lbs without having to cheat and go Atkins.
