I just saw Hasim Rahman vs Oleg Maskeeeev I and............

I just saw Hasim Rahman vs Oleg Maskeeeeeev I on HBO Demand. It was actually a good fight. very close and even. they literally were jabbing, countering and throwing rights at each other all the way through. Until Rahman got a big rally in the 6th where he looked as if he almost had the tko coming. But i feel this rally really tired himself out as he began to fade and then later on lost his legs and got KTFO out of the ring as we all know how it ended. Compubox even had their punch stats, and landed stats almost identical hahaha. Oleg is the bigger taller man but Hasim had the speed and agility as Oleg had the typical Stand up tall straight European stance.

This fight took place in 1999 and Roy Jones Jr was the third man commenting with Jim and Larry and he did a swell job.

In the 3rd round they got a close up of the ring card girl and she was bangin fine with big asss titiez and asss. she was KO MODEL. Jim said, "She's a KO Model and thats all we know about her." haahha. I always wondered why and when did they stop showing the ring card girls on HBO? They were still doing it back in 1999?

Also for some ghetto asss reason ghetto asss scrubs sitting ringside started to riot and fight once Rahman fell through the ropes and under the table. Why the F did those ghetto scrubs fight and cause a riot for?????

Anyway again the first fight was dead even going down to the last couple rounds and if Rahman fights smarter with the jab and not trying to stand toe to toe he should win, but if hes gonna try to be a hard asss and stand toe to toe i dont know man it might be a repeat??????

I just wish they show the ring card girl again for the second fight! :o

I've never really thought much of Maskaev, Rahman will get revenge!!!

Ive never thought much of either guy so this fights a toss up IMO

They both carry the power to hurt the other but maybe Rahmans slightly better technically . Cant be much in it though im going with Hasim to get revenge

can you honestly see him doing this? i think he is getting to old and he hast really being fighting on the highest level (i dont count sinan samil sam as a top man) but i suppose he did win the 1st :-\ could be a close one. it depends how much rahman wants it.

Isn't rahman the younger of the two? he is geting older but he will a good way because everydody thinks he beat toney so i am leaing towards rahman more imo

yeah, Oleg is 37 and Rahman is almost 34....so not much on the age thing but at 37 he could be starting to sloooow down....we'll see..

I saw the fight too. Very close, but it seemed like Rahman could not take Olegs preasure. I will also go on record. Oleg is going to win again

That fight was 6 years ago and yes he has improved vastly since then..........
