Pantera urges IBF champ to concentrate on him, not his team

Edison 'Pantera' Miranda fired back at Arthur Abraham's recent comments about taking on the entire Miranda team. Pantera said, "the last time I looked at the fight card it showed Abraham vs. Miranda, not Abraham vs. the entire Pantera team. If this guy is already getting distracted and concentrating on my entourage, he is going to be in major trouble. I guarantee that I will not only win, but will knock him flat on his back. He will understand what I'm talking about in round one when my shots start landing. He better take my advice and start focusing on me, not my team; otherwise he may get seriously injured."

Miranda is winding down his training camp in Puerto Rico and will leave to Germany on August 14th for the scheduled fight on August 26th in Oldenburg Germany. At stake is the IBF middleweight championship. According to Miranda's team, a deal is in the works to have the fight shown live via the internet in North America, Central America, and the Caribbean. Details for this will be posted on www.panteraboxing.com as soon as they become available.

I tell you one thing...the way these two have been jaw jackin...somebody's ass is gonna get knocked the fwock out!

I refuse to make a pick...I just honestly don't know if Abraham can keep him on the end of his jab all night...if he can't...then he's screwed.

Miranda showed out against Eastman...so did Abraham...but much much MUCH different results.

Agreed. This could be a great fight. I'd like to see Miranda win--the smurf thing is just too . . . German for me.

Miranda's right there be a KO, but it'll be him getting KTFO!!!

Miranda is quite an interesting fella and I wish him the best but I do feel he should have had a few more more fights in the States first.

People were saying he should've had a few more fights before he stepped up to an Eastman caliber too.
Miranda is ready IMO. His skills have been improving with every fight and still will get better. But his heart and attitude have been ready for this fight for years, and I think this will take him to victory. Miranda by KO in mid rounds.

This could be like Cotto Malignaggi, a talented up and comer who gets close but needed a little more experience before facing that level. I want Miranda to win though

Good point, but Abraham is not quite up there at the Cotto level yet, though i can see the Malignaggi/Miranda comparison though. My thoughts would be supporting the underdog, and I'd like to see Miranda have a stormer and KO Abraham.

I say that this is a pretty even playing feild when you equate Miranda's power to Abraham's skill.

Should be a cracker of a fight.

I don't see the comparison of Malignaggi/Miranda (other than they are both cocky).
Malignaggi is far from an aggressive power puncher like Miranda. The guy only has 5 KO's!
He was not gonna KO Cotto and had never fought anyone decent before this fight.

Miranda showed he can hang with the best by outpointing Eastman before the KO.
Miranda's best asset is his power and has proved that he is one of the strongest pound for pound today.

IMO Abraham is an easier fight than Eastman was. As long as it doesn't go the distance and Abraham gets the German home town advantage, I don't see Miranda losing this fight.

i have only seen miranda in action once. I know he is very aggressive but he never showed it really until the later rounds against eastman! DOES HE HAVE GOOD DEFENSE?

did he lose any amatuer fights, on his site its mentions that he a string of 1st round ko's. how many amatuer fights did he lose.
