Everyone loves a puncher, which is why Torres fits in the picture for so many interesting fights. If he takes care of Henry Bruseles on a DirecTV PPV card this month in Puerto Rico -- which he should -- line 'em up and make the fun fights.

Boy this Bruseles is becoming quite the fall guy for 140lb stars. He is capable though and may prove tuffer for Torres than most think. But I doubt it. ;D

NICE!!!!! I have been wondering when Torres was going to fight again. He gave Cotto all he could handle in their fight and he took that fight on 2 weeks notice. Would love to see him prove what he can do when he has properly prepared.
I was very impressed with Torres against Cotto, he looked very capable and i look forward to his next bout.

Evangalista already knows how to beat Bruseles, Cotto already went through the fire and Evangalista would train Bruseles for anything Torres. Torres can be outboxed Cotto just decided not to and it became a war
Torres can be outboxed,that's true but I don't see many@140 doing that.Guys like Hatton,Castilo,Urango etc!

"Tenía pendiente pelear contra el colombiano Ricardo Torres (29-1, 27 ko's) el 26 de agosto, precisamente en Caguas, pero no se llegó a un acuerdo. Estuvimos pendientes para ver si nos incluían en la de Nelson Dieppa con Hugo Cazars y tampoco fue posible", explicó Bruseles a PRIMERA HORA. El gurabeño viene de ganar una decisión unánime contra el mexicano César Bazán el pasado 29 de abril y está deseoso por regresar al ring. "Como no se pudo dar la pelea con Torres, bajé un poco la intensidad de los entrenamientos. Evangelista Cotto (mi entrenador) me dijo que estaría haciendo gestiones en Estados Unidos para ver si aparece una pelea", agregó Bruseles. Es la segunda oacsión que un pleito con Torres ha sido frustrado 2005.

First it was an injury and now they can't come to terms? I was looking forward to it fight for nothing it doesn't matter this fight has to happen!!!! Why are they robbing the fans?
yo cotto vs torres was sick yo! a nice war where both showed mad power, heart, etc etc. id love to see a rematch some day.
