personally i would have preferred spinks, but wanting to be the man at 147 is respectable. not to mention that baldomir is a big welterweight who can take a punch in stride.
i like pbf by unanimous decision (but i dont think its gonna be a walk in the park)
I doubt it's true. I didn't hear Baldomir's name all week. I think it's a jumped to conclusion. Those "sources" said Floyd would fight Lovemore Ndou too....but he ended up fighting DeMarcus Corely
It just came to my mind that this fight will be a faster version of RJJ vs Ruiz.

I changed my mind,I think it's Baldo.Just read Spinks manager said that the fight was 99% done and then Floyd started negotiating with Baldo. What an asswipe.
I personally think the Baldo fight is better for Floyd. Think back a year ago, Floyd was a light-welter weight. He was dominating the devison and moved up, he has only had a couple of fights at welter. Why doesnt he stop and try to dominate this devison, and stop thinking he can woop everybody else's ass in the higher devisons. Going for Spinks doesnt prove much imo, Floyd will win. If he stays at welter and tries to unify, he will have options like Cotto, Baldo, Hatton, Williams...etc. If he beats all those people, then thats when i feel he should go up and go for Mosley. Floyd is still young and i feel he is doing the wrong thing if he goes up to light middle at this stage imo.
