Witter expects tough Corley fight

Sheffield junior-welterweight Junior Witter plans to make a statement when he meet DeMarcus "Chop Chop" Corley at Alexandra Palace, London, on September 15. Witter tells Sheffield Today that he expects a very tough fight from Corley. The bout is for the vacant WBC junior-welterweight title.

I like Corley in this fight, he was able to deliver some serious blows against PBF

This one is a toss up all depends on which Corley shows up...

don't forget what he did to cotto also not only PBF. I have never see the vorley Judah fight how was it?

Corley's still pretty slick but I see a stoppage for Witter in the late rounds.

i got a feeling the my sheffield switch hitter is gonna win a close decision

this one could go either way! one im looking forward to seeing!!
both these guys deserve this shot, maybe give Witter the edge because he's fighting on home

Yep. He did do some damage with Cotto...but in all honesty (not making excuses for Cotto either) a lot of that had to do with the fact that Cotto was fighting like an idiot that night. Trying to impress the hometown/country crowd...plain stupid.

I was impressed with what Corley was able to do...calmly out think Cotto as he bullied in...but Cotto would have KO'd Corley had that fight gone on.

The Judah Corley fight was actually a pretty good match from what I remember...but Judah won...there was no doubt there. Corley's a great fighter that just falls under with steep competition.

I think Corley will win,better fights taken,more experience.
