Toney Now Says He Had the Flu in the Rahman Fight

He was just on the Hot List on ESPN News and said he had the flu when he fought Rahman. He also says Wladimir would be the easiest of the 4 champions to beat, that he felt Peter beat Wlad and got robbed, and confirmed a rumor that he beat up Deion Sanders at a high school football camp in Michigan 20 years ago. Surprisingly, much of what he was saying was inaudible, it looks like he's starting to feel the effects of 70 plus pro fights.

Peter kicked Wlad ass for a few a rounds for damn sure , how many times Sam canvas Klit ? 3 4 ?? then Wlad started holding on , had he not made those Manny adjustments he would have been demolished by Peter.

A lot of those where balance and the rest where from blows to the back of the head, Toney is an idiot, Wlad would destroy him as baddly as he schooled peter and as for having the fucking flu... why do you think he only revealed this after Rahman got knocked the fuck out by an old, limited fighter?

I'll tellyou why... because he is full of it.

no he had the flu, his trainers were talking about it a week before Toney's fight with Rahman Toney is not big on excuses. he backs his shit up for the most part.. he got a big mouth, but he can fight.

This may be alittle off topic but I found this James Toney Q&A chat with fans (a few months old, right before he fought Rahman), but some of the stuff he says is pretty funny, even though alittle farfetched(thinking him and Ray Robinson would be a good fight).

deion sanders(former NFL and pro baseball player). He would give JT a run for his money is the shat talking department.

He said he had the flu in that phone interview with Peter and him. He said Rahman should have ko'd him as bad a shape he was in, the reporter asked if he was out of shape, and Toney said I had the flu.
