Welterweight Joel "Love Child" Julio (27-1, 24 KOs) will try to shake off his first loss when he returns Oct. 27 (Telemundo) in Miami. Julio, the 2005 ESPN.com prospect of the year, lost a decision to Carlos Quintana in a June 24 title eliminator.

I know there is not much in that,I just wanted to post it for my friend Blibo who loves Julio. Hey,even if Margarito and Valero lose,I'll ALWAYS ALWAYS have the fact that your boy Julio LOST EVERY ROUND to Quintana!

I had high hopes for Joel Julio and was disapointed to see him loose to Quintana but will be interested to see how he bounces back!

He is still young enough to make changes for the better and come back even better than before.

Joel Julio didn't throw ONE body shot against Quintana and I guarantee he would have own if he hadn't been doing the same jab right cross left hook combination!! He also didn't listen to his corner ::** not good. Anyway he's just 21 so thats young enough, he will bounce back but hopefully he learned his lesson.

Yeah alright rub it in El Gamo, the kid is young, he will be back. And I always said from the beginning that Quintana was also truth and that he was the only man capable of beating Julio.
