WBO featherweight champion Scott Harrison was hit with three charges of assault and one charge of fraud yesterday in Glasgow, Scotland. Harrison was reportedly taken in handcuffs by police, who detained him for hours grilling him over alleged incidents in July. He was not arrested. According to new manager Barry Hughes, the charges will not prevent Harrison from defending his title in November against interim champion Juan Manuel Marquez. Hughes, recently replaced Harrison's longtime manager Frank Maloney. Over the last year, the 29-year-old champion has seen several fights fall through while he has struggled with depression and alcohol problems.

This guy should be stripped of his title,you're telling me he is going to get a big payday after all his antics?!

The shit was regarding previous actions. It wasn't something new.

You know I understand the man is going thru some things in his life BUT hes holding up JMM and other fighters who want to become champions.

But it going to 1 yr. since his last fight IMO thats too much time. The WBO should have #1 & #2 rated fighters fight for the Interim then once Mr. Harrison is ready to fight have him fight the winner.
And if for some reason he cant continue boxing then the winner automatically becomes the Champ.
