Guzman's only good showing was round 1
after that, it's all Barrios.
I got tired watching Barrios, relentless, always on the attack, never back pedaled, poured everything even to the last minute.
Bob Sheridan have his score card with 4 points lead for Barrios, a modest lead in my opinion.
Then, the big announcement, Guzman won 114-114, 115-113, 115-114
I don't know if these judges are still concern about the fans these days, but always play god. Those judges should be force to watch the fight again and let them score in front of the commisioner.
Boxing should do something about this, or this could be the end of the sweet science.
Boxing is no longer judge according to talent, skills, showing, effort, heart, stamina, effective punches.
It's like the scorecard was already done before the fight.

Personally I thought it was ridiculous that one judge had it for Barrios, that was a clear UD for Guzman, I don't see how you could find more than 4 rounds to give to Barrios. Outboxed him, clearly outslicked him, even outpunched him. I like Barrios but just cause you're agressive doesn't mean you're winning, Guzman was much more effective.

I'm not a fan of Barrios, i don't even like him
But i'm a boxing fan
Where does Guzman become effective?
On what round?
What round did he dominate?
Just throw some quick punches without a causing damage
On the later part of the fight, Guzman was happy clinching, happy to survive
Because he know the scorecard will be padded. Just survive and he will win.

Guzman did ease off at the end of the fight I aggree Barrios did better at the end but at the start Guzman done enough.

Just didn't see it that way, Barrios brawled even from the start
If you think Barrios was effective in the later part of the fight, so the first half could go either way.
Then, why did Guzman won by 3 points in some judges?
