The WBA heavyweight title eliminator between former two-time champion John Ruiz and Ruslan Chagaev has landed on the October 28th Universum Champions Night "Heavyweight Explosion" card at the Porsche Arena in Stuttgart, Germany. More details on the card will be announced on Wednesday. Also in action will be heavyweights Alexander Dimitrenko and Sebastian Köber, plus cruiserweight Firat Arslan. Universum Box-Promotion won the right to present Chagaev-Ruiz at a purse bid on Saturday. Universum bid $832,000, outdistancing Sauerland Event, which bid $420,000. The established minimum was $400,000.

Chagev possess the power to KO Ruiz but sadly, when I look in my crystal ball, I see Ruiz Groping his way through this one. Chagev just isn't big enough to throw Ruiz off.
