what titles are there at amatuer.??

what types of different titles are there as an amatuer.. and how are they contested for i.e in a tournament or ranking etc
and is there rankings
anyone know how they work and what category's there are. i.e country, title holders etc

You only get titles in tornys, and it doesn't work like Pro fighting, you don't defend them... there are loads regional and national championships... different ones depending on your fights... senior and Junior... Commonwealth games... the Olympics... then of course there are the golden glvoes in America etc...

I never understood how the golden gloves system works.

Same as the championships here, you win the regionals and then fight in the nationals.
