Heres a thread started last week about Diaz signing with GBP in case you missed it.

So my question is;
What do you think of his decision to go with Don instead of GBP?
Good choice?
Bad choice?
Who knows?
Everyone knows?
Whats the deal? What are your thoughts?
Re: Juan "Baby Bull" Diaz has signed with Don King and NOT with GBP as rumored.
Bad choice, he'll barely be active and age faster till he loses.

I thing since Don King is loosing clients he might treat his actual ones like gold. Maybe a good thing for Juan Diaz unless good fights may not happen do to the fact that a lot of promoters hate Don "Bad Hair MAfia" King and don't want to negociate with him. :-\
Re: Juan "Baby Bull" Diaz has signed with Don King and NOT with GBP as rumored.
Maybe Don King offered him more money...... Either way I doubt King would keep him inactive, he needs big fights.

Bad decision on Diaz's part.
He'll be fighting King's bums & that's about that.
He won't be properly challenged or matched.
Sorry state of affairs. Shoulda gone with Oscah.

Hopefully he won't get the Travis Simms treatment
Odd move.

I personally think NO matter how much more money Don offers you, you should know what lies ahead sure he'll probably start him off good and Don pormised him the world. But in the long run Diaz will not accomplish much with Don.
Re: Juan "Baby Bull" Diaz has signed with Don King and NOT with GBP as rumored.
I can't understand that decision when you have other options. DK is an option if you are a nobody, and you need some money fights, obviously he delivers. But if you are a champ and have other promotional options, how can you ignore the history of DK not delivering on his promises. About the only big name I can think of that still likes DK is Tito. Everybody else has either sued him or been sued by him. I agree it is a strange move.

All about the $$$$$$$$$$$$$ i would guess. Bad move there Juan rip it up and go sign with the Golden Boy!
