Re: greatest boxing rounds in history top ten
It's interesting because you list the rounds that you thought were great (and they were!), but you clearly like slugfests.
Someone who likes slippery purist boxing, for example, would call them very different (what about when Willie Pep won the round on all three cards without actually throwing a punch?)
This is why debates like this are always good fun - but at the end, nobody ever changes their point of view?

Re: greatest boxing rounds in history top ten
SRL vs Hearns, alot of rounds were classics but probably the final round was tops..
Pernell Whittaker vs Buddy McGirt had 2 great chess match type fights, some great technical boxing from both of them in both fights, couldn't say the best rounds from memory but there were some great ones.
Duran vs Leonard, 15th round first fight..
Duran vs Barkley, 11th round
Maurice Harris vs Derick Jefferson rd 1.... Much like the Bert Cooper Michael Moorer 1st round, both dropped really hard back to back.
Also Corrales vs Castillo, the 8th round was better than the 10th even imo.
Thomas Hearns vs Barkley rd 3 first fight, also had some classic rounds in the rematch.
Toney vs Jirov 12th round
Lennox Lewis vs Shannon Briggs 1st round
Evander Holyfield vs Qawi, Dokes, and Michael Stewart, couldn't say best rounds but there were great ones.
Herol Graham vs Julian Jackson.. Complete shutout for Graham, was within moments of winning by stoppage, then Jackson lands a perfect hook.
