David Tua has NY venue but no opponent
The Roseland Ballroom in midtown Manhattan will play host to David Tua's next fight but who will join him in the ring remains an unknown.
Promoter Cedric Kushner has confirmed the Kiwi heavyweight will fight in New York on November 3.
Kushner says they're still working on an opponent, who can't be too difficult, but also needs credibility.
He says Tua has everything to lose should the fight not go his way while prospective opponents have everything to gain, with the scalp of Tua giving instant recognition.
Kushner says the Roseland venue fits just 2000 spectators, but is the way fights are done in New York if they're not at Madison Square Garden.

:o.... I actually find him one of the most boring unskilled boxers to ever reach a top contender status... How can you say he's so damn entertaining, he had one enetertaing fight against Ibeabachi, and a couple very nice early KO's over Ruiz and Moorer... But other then that, he is crap to watch... all he can hope to do once it gets to the middle rounds is land one big hook out of nowhere, other then that he get's outboxed... And please, Tyson or Foreman would kill him, I don't care how good his chin is he wouldn't have anything to deal with them other then that, and both of them would still posses the power to KO him based on how terrible his defence is... All they would need to do is go to the body and break him down, for christs sake Chris Byrd was getting his respect to the body.. The guy is junk.

I could really go for a Tua Vs Tyson fight, and even though both are shot it would generate huge PPV buy's.

brazilianbomber you're a genius Tua vs. Tyson, this fight should be on "Tysons World Tour" :D
Re: David Tua has NY venue but no opponent
I did assume he meant a prime Tyson or Foreman... just for the record. Today all Tua would have to do is still be there after a few rounds, which wouldn't be a problem for him.

Always thought he was kinda boring too. Although when he was younger he was a lot more active, not the plodding, one punch at a time version that he became.
