I think PBF can beat him, a fight against Cotto would be great, I see a SD for Cotto in that fight. Everybody else on the list does not have enough to beat Hatton (Castillo, Corrales, Judah, Diaz, Williams)Quote:

First up, I have to say that I would give the edge to Mayweather if it came down do it, he's the class act of the division. Hatton is a good fighter, but Mayweather would bamboozle him with shots from all angles and Hatton wouldn't know where he was. He's not Mayweather class, and before he takes that fight, I still reckon he needs to make bit more money. :p
I'm writing Judh, Corrales and Castillo off the list, cause I just don't think that they would be able to deal with the style of Hatton, who isn't what a lot of fighters are used to facing.
As for Cotto, he certainly made the right choice in stepping up, emaciating himself too much to make the weight will take away from him as a fighter. I'd call this one a 50/50 fight, maybe Hatton edging it. Though if its in the states, i could see it going the other way if it got to the cards.
Ok lets look at your list
Floyd Mayweather
Yes he could beat Hatton for the obvious reasons.
Zab Judah
I'm actually amused that people write Zab off the list. He is a southpaw and a 147 pounder with speed, power, and defense. After watching that Collazo fight I don't have a problem saying that I think Judah could handle Hatton. It's his stamina he needs to work on because Hatton WILL be there after round 6.
Miguel Cotto
Pick em fight. Given where Cotto's style is supposed to be, he would win. But it's not where it's supposed to be. Both him and Hatton have flaws they will take advantage of. Whoever wins it's a SD.
Diego Corrales
Hatton would stop him unless he ran into the bombs.
Jose luis Castillo
Close explosive fight. Favor Hatton but Castillo has a left hook of his own...the expression is don't hook with a hooker, but who is the better hooker is the question.
mayweather has what it takes. i think he would destroy hatton but i won't know until they fight
I think PBF could beat him. I wouldn't say PBF would totatly dominate him or even knock him out I believe that it would probably a close fought UD for PBF probably the hardest fight PBF would have to date. I also think Paul Williams could possible beat him at welter, hes just to tall and lanky for hatton I think it would be a total mismatch. everyone else I think hatton would win.
Zab could beat Hatton, but its not probable. Zab's chin is shit, and he has no heart or determination factor. like you said Ricky would be one him like glue and that would negate any southpaw advantage. ;)Quote:

Still probably favor Hatton, wanna see what Chico looks like tomorrow, how much he has left.
Zab does have tools no doubt, and hitting Hatton should not be a problem, its the forced high work rate that would seal Zudah's demise. Zudah can't fight hard for a sustained period of time before he fades and gets knocked out. Zab likes to fight in spots the rest then fight in spots again.. That Hatton pressure would overwhelm him. Is it possible that Hatton gets knocked out by Zudah.. sure, but not probable.
Zab's only been knocked out once and it wasn't because he faded late in the fight. That made it sound like he got stopped constantlyQuote:

I don't see Zab having what it takes at this point in his career. Just my opinion mate .Quote:
