Manfredo is for REAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He absolutely destroyed Spina and looked better than ever!!! 168 will be his soon!!!! Do we see a Joe C in the future????? Freddie Roach has turned this man around....He looks far more polished than the Pemberton fight....

I think fighting at the lighter weight hurt Manfredo....It looks like 168 is really his natural weight and his power seems to have increased tremendously.....thought he beat Mora in the last fight.....Quote:

Serious? Kessler would annihalate Spina, I would put everything I owned on a bet on that. I mean there's no such thing as an absolute sure thing in boxing...no that's actually pretty much a sure thing. Wouldn't last more than five rounds. At most.Quote:

Just watched the fight. Strange but I definitely think the move up in weight has helped Manfredo, yeah he hasn't really fought anybody at the weight but his punches do look like they have a lot more snap on them, even quicker maybe. Maybe he was just too big for 154. Plus Roach has helped out.
Not gonna go nuts, Pemberton was shot to pieces and Spina is big and strong but has absolutely zero boxing skill. And Manfredo's legs looked a bit shaky going back to the corner after round 1. But he's fairly quick for a 168 pounder, and his right hand is pretty straight and quick. Still not sure about his defense, but he may be better than I originally thought, of course I originally didn't think much at all.
Starr is still saw over picking pemberton to KO Manfredo... :P

Manfredo looked better than he ever has. I was surprised by the amount of power he had, I expected him to box Spina but he just took it to him and beat him good. IMO it looked like Spina was about gassed after the 1st round, like he had a huge adrenaline rush walking up to the ring and in the 1st round but then it drained everything out of him when it left him, or Peter's punches had that much affect on him. Either way Manfredo knocked him loopy, Spina looked like he wasnt sure he knew who he was after that last right. Still dont think that Manfredo is top10 at 168 but top15. I was impressed with him, Roach has done a terrific job with him. To me he looks like a new fighter.
