Re: The Greatest Sportsmen Thread
Thats sad about Linford. It was amazing watching him in his pomp. If he was still in with a shout at half way it was almost a given that he would power through.
Maybe a section for athletes in general? Johnson, Bupka, Thompson?
I read a while ago that Sergey Bupka was practically taking the piss his whole career and could break world records whenever he fancied, could jump way higher than he actually did.

I remember them saying the tailback averaging 4.6 yards a carry.. Hell you give the ball to that guy when your up 28 points in the 4th quarter.

You are right about that... BUT these his stats are amazing
Combining his NFL and CFL stats, Moon's numbers are staggering: 5,357 completions for 70,553 yards and 435 touchdowns, all of which are massively higher than the NFL records for each category. Even if his Canadian League statistics are discounted, Warren Moon's career is still exceptional: 3,988 completions for 49,325 yards (the fourth-highest in NFL history), 291 touchdown passes, 1,736 yards rushing, and 22 rushing touchdowns.
