According to BoxRec Jeff Lacy will be fighting vs.....
I was on BoxRec looking at the Winky-Quartey card and they have Jeff Lacy vs. Vitali Tsypko the re-match of their fight that ended in a 'NC' due to a cut caused by a head butt.
So wadda' ya guys think about this fight it seems to me like hes doing the right thing which is he wen't for broke and got nothing. Now hes taking a step back and is IMO starting fresh, getting back in there with Vitali ans settling that 'NC' we'll see how he performs and most importnatly if hes learned something new, I don't expect him to box circles around Vitali but I do expect to see something new, something different then just coming forward, hands high and start throwing bombs. I expect to see a jab, maybe some straight rights (not looping).

Good fight for him, sort of fight to get him back on the road, expected a fight that he should win easily, right choice IMO...

Nice choice of opponent, its not right in the deepend, but its probably the 3rd/4th best fighter he's faced. Hopefully he's not too dented mentally. Good luck to him, he should KO his ass in 5-7.

Believe it or not...I agree with Royal.
This is a really stupid fight for Jeff to take after such a long lay off & the fact that the first fight was a ruff & tuff battle that was neck in neck down the stretch to the stoppage.
Not sure about the outcome of this one...but I really can't believe that he's taking such a tuff fight a sa comebacker.

Kind of a shame, I woulda loved to see Lacy take out Allan Green, but oh well. Tsypko is not the 2nd best or whatever fighter Lacy has faced, Sid Vanderpool was better, as was Omar Sheika, both gave Lacy a heck of a time too, but Jeff prevailed.

The important thing is that Lacy is back in action and he is going on to prove that he is a damn fine SMW contender, and not just the bum that JC made him look like. If Lacy goes on to be the future of the division after JC signs up, I think that Lacy would be great. Go Jeff!

Yeah Lacy and Tsypko really when at it life and death for less than 2 rounds. Come on homie. Tsypko is decent, but that's it. If Lacy can't beat him, than it'll show how overrated he really was. And it'll probabley be best if he found another line of work
