even if he hadn't have pulled up he never would have made up the two yards on Bailey..not over that distance anyway.
Bailey had a faster top speed.

obviously, or johnson would of been a 100m sprinter, as quick as he was over 400m you would never beat a top sprinter

If it wasn't for injuries he would have been. And he was without injury ;) And you can't say "clearly" because you don't know what would have happened if Johnson wasn't injured. Only assume.

I remember when they did this. It came about because of Johnson's 200 m time something like 19.32 sec or around there. Everybody started talking that with splitting Johnson's time he would have won the 100 m gold. But that is why they are two different races, hard to successfully compare one with the other.
