Lee Meager's will defend his British Lightweight crown on Dec 8th at Goresbrook leisure centre in Dagenham,Essex against Jon Thaxton.
Thaxton who gave Ricky Hatton a torrid time when they met-but it cuts no ice with Meager.
Meager said:"Im going to put Thaxton into retirement.He's got no respect at all for me and he's picking on the wrong fella"

and his only loss was on a Sports network card and the hennessy fighter won IMO but strangly enough the judges didnt agree ::**

When Thaxton was linked with Freitas a few months back I remember reading he was after the Meager fight...Obviously fancies it
