Just seen it as the scores are coming in and you can't make out what exactly was thrown by he was out cold for 10 minutes and stretchered off the pitch :o

A school in Gastonia played a speach by Nazi Minister of Propeganda Joseph Goebbles before a game
On a high school soccer field in Gastonia, where teenage boys were set to rumble on a recent night, strange-sounding words blared from the speakers.
It was Joseph Goebbels, Adolf Hitler’s minister of propaganda, brought back to life on the school’s public address system.
The soccer team for Forestview High School, playing Charlotte Catholic that night, had chosen “on to victory” as a slogan for the season, perhaps in deference to a teammate who was a German exchange student.
How that bit of cultural mixing morphed into Goebbels’ voice greeting fans in German defies thoughtful explanation. It appears a couple of the Forestview players were looking to pep up the team by playing its slogan as authentically as possible.

I'm still confused how he was knocked unconscious for 10 minutes after being struck with a coin. Talk about not having a chin!

They all exaggerate their pain in soccer. People should stop chucking things anyway. Everyone will be spewin if they start putting huge up big fences around the ground. Nobody likes umpires or refs, but all games are screwed without them. ;)

Dunno... if it was a 2 pound coin (though who would through that away... :P) it could do damage if it hit like a frisby.
Most sheeple have a glass jaw though... like that singer in that panic at the disco emo band who was KOd by an empty plastic bottle.

It was in Wales - no self-respecting Welsh person is generous enough to be throwing 2 pund coins away - mybe Chelsea, but not Newport.
