if lacy got a rematch, which i highly doubt he will, could calzaghe take him apart just as easily, or like some say with ali foreman, would it be a fight in which lacy would not fall for the same tactics,
personally id say another calzaghe ud but mayb not as one sided
He can't afford to give rematches. He has to move up to tougher competition before his hands give out for good.
The margin of Joes win over Lacy was huge; Lacy would never get a sniff of a rematch, he simply wasnt at the races vs Joe. You wouldnt expect a Lion to give a rematch to the fieldmouse it has just swallowed whole, would you?
Darin makes a good point about Joe not having the time to give rematches; I agree with this, but more of a threat is his penchant for wasting time by doing nothing, or fighting a poor calibre of opponents. He has essentially wasted the year entirely after the Lacy fight, loosing all momentum and attention the victory won him, now he has it all to do again (especially after the woeful Bika fight) in terms of capturing peoples imagination, especially the yanks.
