Actually you're wrong.

Marciano's first loss in a boxing ring was in the amateurs to Henry Lester, he was DQ'd for kneeing Lister in the stomach when he was taking a pummeling against the ropes.

In the AAU finals against Joe DeAngelis.

he lost to Coley Wallace in an amateur fight he took after he turned pro

And he lost to Bob Girard

But his first loss was to Lister

again, i was unaware of this. i never knew much about marcianos ameteur career...
surely i have to issue 3 dvds now...please let me know which youd like as well and ill issue all 3 for free...pm me

70 classic knockouts one would be fine, I have Roy Jones' career on dvd :)

It's ok about Marciano, not a lot of people know, I didn't even know until I read it :) This is the most thats known about his amateur career. He took some amateur fights after he turned pro too.
